K D Babu Kishan aka Krishnendu Das Baul was born a Baul into the lap of his Grandfather and Guru, Nabani Das Khyapa Baul (Tantric Vaishnava Baul) who was the much celebrated one and only Baul that initiated Rabindranath Tagore into Baul. Babu Kishan is from the only ancient living Baul lineage. He officially introduced the world to Baul. He introduced India to Baul and created a platform for all who follow Baul to follow and follow him they did all around the world. He was an Indian Cultural Ambassador for 45 years, and while practicing his lineage he was the first Lyricist/Music Composer/Producer, Film-Maker from only living Master of ancient Baul Lineage.
