#KrishnenduDas #BabuKishan the eldest Son of Purna Das Baul and Manju Das, and eldest Grandchild of Nabani Das Khyapa Baul (the only trained Musician , Music Composer, Lyricist in my family and oldest only Baul lineage) who actually worked his whole life in with all Indian's top actors, playback singers, musicians, music composers and International singers for decades.
I associated and worked with all musicians in Calcutta and Bombay as I was a Music Composer from a very young age. I have a BA and MA from Calcutta University in Indian Music. I am a born musician and music composer certified as a Music Composer, he composed for Sultan Khan and played music with him.
I composed, recorded and makreting, most of my fathers renowned Baul Singer #PurnaDasBaul Music.
Babu is the only one who introduced his parents Worldwide and at the #RoyalAlbertHall. Babu Kishan arranged and completely organized these programs, by himself with Greater London Council a South Asian Show.
In this program Babu's friends and his fellow muscians included Zakir Husain, Runa Laila and Sultan khan. Babu had already recorded several private & film music in Mumbai for Bollywood Films.
Babu Kishan worked and promoted all Indian Music around the World for International Music Label CBS and others in Mumbai for a long time. He is the first from his family and lineage to arrange a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London Uk.
He brought and taught his brothers some instruments so that they could be included, this is the first time his siblings to participated with Mother Manju Das, Purna Chandra Das Baul and with Krishnendu Das (today’s Music Legendary #KDBabuKishan). This was 1986.
Even before this concert Babu Kishan toured all over #Europe, #Canada and #America with parents, his siblings were never involved. At that time they did not even like or participate in any musical event.
Babu Kishan by himself is still participating Worldwide: Universities, Music Festivals even International Film Festivals.
Babu Kishan as a big brother always considered his siblings and brought his siblings to join in Asia tour, America tour in 1988, they tagged along.
I worked hard all my life and they just benefited, taking pictures with people who are my friends and people I personally worked with and then making up stories, taking my name off and adding their names, when I created this history. I built a platform for them and all the Bauls of Bengal for the next generation and they benefited. This is history and today everybody is using, saying they are the ones?
Later my Music from Royal Albert Hall Concert was released in the same time that I produced ‘Sri Chaitanya‘ Drama on Cassette by Kolkata’s Megaphone Music Company. I arranged this for my father because at the time he was not getting performances due to the CPM government. Babu Kishan arranged all including concerts out side of India. I created composed and produced this drama, I always gave their name and kept myself behind the screen and always gave my Dad's name? This also, was because of my his long time connection with Kamal Da the owner of Megaphone..
